Les jeunes qui naissent aujourd\u2019hui conna\u00eetront des d\u00e9g\u00e2ts irr\u00e9versibles dus au <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CR7BwFvH8aw\/\">r\u00e9chauffement climatique<\/a>, et ce, d\u00e8s 30 ans. Et ils en sont conscients. Les marques n\u2019ont plus le choix de se positionner en faveur d\u2019actions vertes pour le bien-\u00eatre de la plan\u00e8te, car les jeunes sont alertes et lucides : ils ne veulent plus \u00eatre men\u00e9s en bateau. Il est donc important en tant que marque d\u2019afficher ses couleurs vertes, certes, mais la question demeure: <strong>comment diff\u00e9rencier les bons choix des faux pas?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Les nouveaux influenceurs sont green\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On ne peut parler d\u2019influenceurs verts sans bien s\u00fbr mentionner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/gretathunberg\/?hl=fr-ca\">Greta Thurnberg<\/a> (11M), mais c\u2019est loin d\u2019\u00eatre la seule. Greta a ouvert la voie \u00e0 une conscience sociale et surtout au fait que \u00e7a peut \u00eatre \u2018\u2019cool\u2019\u2019 de se positionner. Elle appara\u00eet d&#8217;ailleurs derni\u00e8rement en couverture du magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CSUdXAKDRPl\/\">Vogue Scandinavie<\/a>. Un exemple de choix est <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jessie.nadeau\/?hl=fr-ca\">Jessie Nadeau<\/a> (181K), ancienne candidate d\u2019occupation double, qui a choisi d\u2019utiliser sa plateforme afin de mener un combat <a href=\"https:\/\/veganemaispasplate.com\/page\/7\/\">pour le v\u00e9ganisme<\/a>. Un autre bon exemple est celui de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/florenceleasiry\/?hl=fr-ca\">Florence-L\u00e9a Siry<\/a> (20K), une entrepreneure \u00e9coresponsable, qui d\u00e9montre comment on peut \u00eatre vert en entrepreneuriat.<\/p>\n<p>Le magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/urbania.ca\/\">URBANIA<\/a> est un exemple concret du besoin grandissant chez les jeunes de se rapprocher de la nature. Le m\u00e9dia urbain sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les 25-34 au 23M d\u2019impressions mensuels, lance <a href=\"https:\/\/dehors.urbania.ca\/\">DEHORS<\/a>, un m\u00e9dia centr\u00e9 sur le style de vie de plein air, d\u2019appr\u00e9ciation de la nature et son terrain de jeu (malgr\u00e9 une audience \u00e0 45%\u00a0 montr\u00e9alaise). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/harold-beaulieu-1767a452\/\">Harold Beaulieu<\/a>, la t\u00eate derri\u00e8re cette initiative, nous explique qu\u2019apr\u00e8s avoir fait une analyse de leur client\u00e8le, il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 qu\u2019il y avait un int\u00e9r\u00eat marqu\u00e9 (dans certains cas un index de 6 fois plus que le reste des Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois) pour tout ce qui avait attrait au plein air et au mode de vie plus vert.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab <em>On voyait qu\u2019il y avait un int\u00e9r\u00eat naturel pour toutes ces th\u00e9matiques-l\u00e0, donc nous on a \u00e9t\u00e9 convaincu qu\u2019il y avait de la place pour cr\u00e9er une marque m\u00e9dia d\u00e9di\u00e9e<\/em>\u00bb a mentionn\u00e9 M. Beaulieu.<\/p>\n<p>Leur objectif \u00e9tait d\u2019avoir une ouverture, une inclusivit\u00e9 dans le monde du plein air, en incluant les gens qui sont des passionn\u00e9s des randonn\u00e9es en montagne, que des gens qui aiment prendre une marche ou s&#8217;asseoir dans un parc pour lire. Et le public a r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 l\u2019appel:<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>C\u2019est une de nos plateformes qui a connu le meilleur d\u00e9part dans l\u2019histoire d\u2019Urbania, tous ceux \u00e0 qui on l\u2019a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 disent que c\u2019est vraiment une bonne id\u00e9e et que \u00e7a manquait au Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>\u00bb, explique M. Beaulieu.<\/p>\n<p>Une chose est certaine, les r\u00e9seaux sociaux sont devenus dans les derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es non seulement une plateforme de partage d\u2019id\u00e9es et de convictions. Les influenceurs d\u00e9montrent par leurs gestes et pr\u00e9sences quotidiennes sur les m\u00e9dias sociaux que ce n\u2019est pas simplement un \u2018\u2019front\u2019\u2019, mais bien un style de vie qu\u2019ils \u00e9tendent dans leur propre quotidien. L&#8217;authenticit\u00e9 de la d\u00e9marche fait en sorte que \u00e7a fonctionne. Prenons par exemple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/leonardodicaprio\/?hl=fr-ca\">L\u00e9onardo DiCaprio<\/a>, qui utilise ses m\u00e9dias pour faire avancer la lutte pour le climat. Les do et don\u2019t.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Don\u2019t : ne pas suivre la tangente.<\/strong> D\u2019une part, il y a les influenceurs qui d\u00e9cident de ne pas suivre le mouvement et qui en plus s\u2019exposent sur les m\u00e9dias sociaux en manquant de respect \u00e0 la plan\u00e8te et ses habitants, et avec la mont\u00e9e de la \u2018\u2019cancel culture\u2019\u2019 un faux pas peut co\u00fbter une carri\u00e8re. L&#8217;\u00e9crivaine J.K. Rowling a r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 &#8216;<em>cancell\u00e9e&#8217;<\/em>\u00a0sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux \u00e0 cause de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/news\/nation-world\/national\/article244082037.html\">propos jug\u00e9s transphobes<\/a> dans un post.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Don\u2019t : ne pas faire de greenwashing.<\/strong> Le terme greenwashing signifie s\u2019afficher pour une cause \u00e9cologique dans le simple but d\u2019en r\u00e9colter les points et b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sociaux (lire ici, les likes et les abonn\u00e9s). Le greenwashing est vu comme un opportunisme mal plac\u00e9 et peut cr\u00e9er l&#8217;inverse de l\u2019effet d\u00e9sir\u00e9 en termes d\u2019image de marque.<br \/>\nDans l\u2019industrie de la mode par exemple, on diff\u00e9rencie facilement Patagonia qui a gagn\u00e9 la confiance des consommateurs par des actions environnementales concr\u00e8tes, des marques <em>fast fashion<\/em> comme H&amp;M qui lance une gamme de produits faussement \u2018conscious\u2019. \u201d <a href=\"http:\/\/dailyorange.com\/2020\/03\/fashion-companies-use-greenwashing-lie-consumers\/\"><em>How can something that, on average, takes about 20,000 liters of water to produce be sustainable?<\/em><\/a>\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Do : ne pas juste crier au feu.<\/strong> Les jeunes veulent des acteurs de changement, pas de rabat-joie. L\u2019influence vient des solutions, pas simplement du fait de rapporter la situation en \u00e9vitant de se salir les mains.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Do : \u00eatre proactif.<\/strong> Les initiatives qui \u00e9mergent d\u2019une d\u00e9marche authentique et proactive sont bien re\u00e7ues. Par exemple les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=774831006756148\">Clean up<\/a> Guru. En effet, la compagnie a choisi de mettre leur \u00e9nergie \u00e0 contribution pour nettoyer leurs terrains de jeu favoris: c\u2019est cette initiative proactive qui en fait gage de succ\u00e8s.
