Project manager – Production

TRIBU crew is looking for a project manager to complete its production team. For the past 10 years, we have been creating innovative marketing experiences, producing high impact events and aligning brands and youth. TRIBU is a Montreal-based agency for integrated experience creation, event production, content creation & amplification. We create connections inspired by passion.

We are looking for a master of management to handle multiple projects (events, experiential/XM activations, etc.) simultaneously, while regularly seeing through his/her dedicated clients, the internal production needs and communications-marketing team. Essentially, this person collaborates in the creative development of projects and participates in the creation of various documents (schedules, budget, schedule, post-mortem, etc.) and pilots the logistics and production related to the projects under his or her responsibility.

The Project Manager acts as Project Owner on medium-size projects entrusted to him/her, taking the lead in the realization and execution of the project according to the deadlines, objectives and budget defined by the production. The Project Manager is accountable to the Head of the Production Department.



  • Participate in the reception of client briefs and establishing priorities
  • Research, write and support creative proposals in response to the objectives of your assigned clients
  • Define the project schedule, communicate it to the teams, clients and suppliers and monitor its progress
  • Elaborate and carry out the follow-up of the production specifications and/or specifications
  • Develop, communicate and manage assembly and disassembly schedules
  • Set up and ensure a rigorous follow-up of the client budget in collaboration with the production department
  • Prepare, research and analyze bids from different suppliers for each major budget item
  • Maintain a 360-degree view of a project from ideation to delivery


  • Act as a resource person internally, with the client and various suppliers and ensure the follow-up of the project’s progress
  • Supervise field activations and ensure compliance with KPIs in conjunction with the field team
  • Provide accurate weekly reports to clients
  • Represent TRIBU in the field in front of partners, customers, suppliers and other entities


  • Manage and negotiate with suppliers and ensure that payment deadlines are met
  • Close the budgets assigned to you
  • Organize and participate in post-mortem redaction and share the knowledge to the production team



  • A bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, management, philanthropy or any other related fields
  • From 2 to 4 years of experience in project management (in agency, events, entertainment, sports, marketing or any other related fields)
  • A valid driver’s license and a car
  • Comfortable with driving trailers/cube trucks
  • A valid passport to be ready to work throughout and outside the country
  • A good ability to manage stress & priorities
  • A machinery permit (lift, heavy machinery) an asset
  • A track record as a promotional agent, a good asset


  • A very good knowledge of the event industry, the advertising industry, marketing as well as current trends in extreme sports
  • A good knowledge of the technical equipment required for the production of events
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
  • An ability to demonstrate vision, imagination and creativity
  • The structure, organization and punctuality of a Swiss clock
  • A good sense of initiative
  • A willingness to exceed given objectives
  • An interest in marginal schedules (flexibility, irregular hours, evening shift, weekend possible depending on projects)
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken
