 Partnership and Sponsorship Manager

TRIBU is currently looking for a Partnership and Sponsorship Manager to join the sales team. For over 10 years, TRIBU has been a Montreal-based agency specializing in event production, integrated marketing experiences, content creation, and amplification. We create connections inspired by passion.

The Partnership and Sponsorship Manager is a self-motivated, energetic individual determined to develop new business relationships. The main responsibility is to pursue future partnerships in Canada and the USA to contribute to the private revenue development of TRIBU’s brands. The candidate plays an essential role in the growth and success of TRIBU.

YOUR ROLE AT TRIBU

  • Identify partnership opportunities: The Partnership Manager must constantly be on the lookout for partnership opportunities that could benefit TRIBU. This involves researching companies, brands, or organizations that may be interested in associating with TRIBU’s events and achieving sales and profit goals jointly defined with the Director of Business Development.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships: An essential part of the role is to establish and maintain strong relationships with companies potentially interested in a partnership. This may involve in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, presentations, and networking events.
  • Negotiate sponsorship and partnership agreements: The Partnership and Sponsorship Manager is responsible for generating innovative ideas to integrate the partner into the event and negotiating the terms and conditions of partnership agreements. This includes defining mutual benefits for each party, pricing sponsorship levels, and creating contracts.
  • Promote partnerships: In collaboration with the Marketing Director, the Partnership Manager ensures the promotion of partnerships, especially to attract new partners. This may include creating presentation materials.
  • Analyze performance: An important part of the role is to monitor and analyze partnership performance to measure effectiveness jointly with the Director of Business Development. This may involve collecting data on the impact of partnerships on TRIBU brand awareness, sales, and other key performance indicators.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, international relations, or any related field;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sponsorship sales;
  • Proficiency in Google Suite;
  • Knowledge of the action sports industry is an asset;
  • Established networks in Canada and in the United States;
  • Proficiency in Hubspot is an asset;
  • Ability to communicate fluently in both French and English, both orally and in writing.

YOU ARE ALSO KNOWN FOR

  • Good knowledge of advertising, marketing, and current market trends in the sponsorship industry;
  • Having developed partnerships or conducted advertising sales (minimum 3 years);
  • Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets;
  • Demonstrate vision, imagination, and creativity;
  • Excellent negotiation and business representation skills, as well as interpersonal skills;
  • Organizational and meticulous;
  • Ability to seize opportunities and demonstrate perseverance;
  • Strong ability to identify business opportunities, develop strategies, and negotiate creative solutions.
