Employer: Tribu Expérientiel Inc.
Work Location: Montreal, QC (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

TRIBU, a production agency behind some of the largest action sports festivals in Quebec and internationally, is looking for a Communications & Public Relations Coordinator to support our Marketing Manager and help elevate the visibility of our events and brand.

Your role will be essential in coordinating communication projects, facilitating collaboration with our public relations agency, and ensuring smooth workflows between suppliers, partners, and internal teams.
If you’re driven by organization, communication, collaboration, and event-based projects, you’ll feel right at home with us.

Your mission: Act as a strategic point of contact between our teams, partners, and suppliers, while supporting the effective execution of communication initiatives.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Act as the main liaison between TRIBU and our public relations agency/suppliers: supporting mandate preparation, information sharing, brief coordination, follow-ups, feedback, and approvals.
  • Coordinate communication projects: timeline management, deliverable organization, budget tracking, and relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in managing and following up with suppliers (creative, media, production, PR, etc.) to ensure the successful execution of the department’s strategy and objectives.
  • Contribute to writing and proofreading a variety of content (internal documents, presentations, web content, event copy, newsletters).
  • Participate in social media management (planning, content gathering, publishing) in collaboration with the team.
  • Contribute to performance reporting (PR, social media, campaigns) and assist with results analysis.
  • Take part in creative brainstorms and project meetings.
  • Support the team on-site during festivals, particularly with media logistics, internal communications, and overall coordination.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in coordination or communications (agency, event production, or marketing experience is an asset).
  • Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong writing skills—clear, structured, and versatile.
  • Excellent organizational skills: managing timelines, prioritization, tracking, and delivery.
  • Comfort collaborating with multiple teams, suppliers, and partners.
  • Experience working in environments where multiple projects move forward simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with management platforms (HubSpot, Monday, etc.) is a plus.

Bonus Superpowers

  • Natural curiosity for events, sports, culture, or community-driven projects.
  • A solution-oriented, proactive, and positive mindset.
  • Strong adaptability, especially during peak event production periods.
  • Interest in action sports (skateboarding, climbing, snowboarding, surfing, etc.) is an asset.

What We Offer

  • A full-time position from March to September, with the possibility of long-term employment.
  • A hybrid work model: 2 days per week working remotely.
  • Group insurance after the probation period.
  • A passionate, welcoming, and driven team.
  • A bright workspace in Plateau Mont-Royal, a summer terrace, unlimited coffee, and an inspiring environment.
  • The opportunity to directly contribute to the success of major festivals and large-scale media projects.
  • A culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, and positive energy.

At TRIBU, we celebrate creativity, bold ideas, and diversity. If you’re looking to grow in a dynamic environment where every day is different, we want to meet you!
