The project

From September 12-14, Montréal pulsed with the energy of JACKALOPE, transforming the city into the beating heart of action sports culture.

For one weekend, Montréal didn’t just host a festival, it became the epicenter of a movement where sport, art, and community collided.

Montréal Becomes the Epicenter of Action Sports Culture

Over three unforgettable days, more than 28,000 fans gathered to witness 300+ world-class athletes push the limits of Vert skateboarding and climbing, alongside 30 exhibitors bringing the latest in sport, art, and lifestyle to life.

The atmosphere was electric: athletes delivering historic runs, fans filling the venue with cheers, and the city itself embracing the festival spirit.

For many, it wasn’t just a competition; it was a celebration of passion, creativity, and community.

Beyond Competition: A Festival for Everyone

Fans gathered to watch the best in climbing, Vert skateboarding, mini-ramp, and, new for this year: calisthenics demos. Each discipline bringing its own energy and identity to the festival grounds. The atmosphere was electric as athletes pushed their limits while the crowd soaked up every moment, from gravity-defying climbing battles to skate legends flying above the Vert ramp.

The legendary Bob Burnquist hosted an exclusive meet & greet for VIP guests, while Electrolit once again offered fans the chance to connect with top athletes right onsite. Families and spectators explored brand activations from Jarritos, Smirnoff, Arc’teryx, Nerds, and Desjardins, whose custom parcours challenged festival-goers in fun and interactive ways. Victoire de Montréal added to the excitement by bringing official team athletes for a special meet & greet session, connecting local heroes with the next generation.

Meanwhile, Tech Deck returned with their ambassador TJ Rogers, bridging skate culture with playful and engaging experiences for young fans. And when the sun went down, the festival spirit carried on into the city with afterparties at TRH Bar and Warehouse Crescent, giving athletes, fans, and partners the chance to connect in true Montréal style.

Buzz Across the City

The impact stretched far beyond the festival grounds.
With over 46.3 million impressions thanks to 62 media features in outlets like LCN, La Presse, CBC, Radio-Canada, Journal de Montréal, and CTV News, JACKALOPE Montréal became a headline event across Canada.

Online, the excitement resonated even louder: 2.9 million views on Instagram content, 653K impressions through Meta ads, and more than 500K weekly impressions from street-level advertising gave the festival a massive digital and urban footprint.

More Than Moments, A Movement

JACKALOPE proved once again why this gathering is more than an event.
It is an experience that inspires athletes, captivates audiences, and showcases Montréal on the global stage of action sports.

For partners, cities, and fans alike, JACKALOPE is a platform for growth, where sport meets culture, and where community becomes legacy.
