Preserving your heritage and preparing your field before you play was the starting point for the Spring/Summer 2021 initiatives with GURU. Armed with brooms, wheelbarrows, shovels, gloves and a lot of energy, the GURU squad had the mission to supervise and put some fun into clean-up operations on Quebec’s favorite playgrounds with the help of Blue Organization, ApneaCity and Taiga board.
Clean up your mountain
The mission: to offer a maximum of usable trails in record time. More than 95 km of trails have been cleaned and prepared at Mont Sutton, Empire 47 and Mont Adstock to welcome you for new adventures!
Clean up your river
With the collaboration of Organisation Bleue, Taiga board and Apneacity, MORE THAN A TON of waste was collected on the shores of the Saint-Laurent river.
Clean up your city
Despite the growing popularity of skateboarding, skateparks are not known for being the cleanest playgrounds. With the help of Skateboards for hope, Taiga boards, les vagabonnes and Organisation Bleue, more than 55 lbs of garbage was collected in the skateparks of Van Horne, Verdun and St-Léonard.
