The project

Crankworx is an international mountain biking event, created in Whistler, that presents several high level mountain bike competitions. Crankworx Summer Series is the punk kid brother of Crankworx. It’s serious about what’s important, but other than that, it’s a relaxing atmosphere. In short: go full send, but do it in a party shirt!

The experience

5 days, 5 mountains, 5 disciplines.

Sept. 1st | Empire 47 | Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championship Qualifier: With an impressive paved infrastructure, Empire 47 is the perfect place to host this event that also serves as a qualifier for Eastern Canada’s Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championship. Men and women winners will win an all-expenses paid trip to compete at this world championship in Chile.

Sept. 2nd | Sentiers du Moulin | Slopestyle: This freeride discipline takes place on a jumps and berms course designed for riders to perform jaw-dropping stylized aerial figures (bronze event on the FMB World Tour circuit).

Sept. 3rd | Vallée Bras-du-Nord | Air downhill: The course of jumps and fluid turns is designed so racers can fly spectacular distances in the air.

Sept. 4th | Le Massif de Charlevoix | Kidsworx: Children ages 6 to 12 can participate in development clinics with mountain bike professionals.

Sept. 5th | Mont-Sainte-Anne | Dual slalom: On dual side-by-side courses, riders perform tight turns and jumps. The last leg of the course consists of flags to be negotiated at high speed, like skiers on a dual slalom course.
