A great edition !

From the 18th to the 20th of August, the JACKALOPE action sports festival took place on the Esplanade Financière Sun Life of the Olympic Stadium of Montreal for its 6th edition. More than 22,500 people showed up during the JACKALOPE weekend and the event generated over 64 millions media impressions!

The project

The Esplanade was transformed into a large playground. The perfect meeting spot for families and marginalized sports enthusiasts. Much more exciting than geeking around ! You were offered a total urban immersion into the JACKALOPE culture with the food trucks, the pop up shops, the World Cup Skateboarding, the Tony Hawk and friends demo on the vert and much more !

The experience

The main attraction of the event was, obviously, the appearance of skateboard legend Tony Hawk, made possible thanks to  Vidéotron and Samsung, for a unique demo in Montreal. However, there were plenty of other activities to try (bubble soccer, ax throwing, yoga, slackline…)  and some jaw dropping performances including the World Cup Skateboarding, the bouldering competition, the criterium of fixed gear, highline and freestyle motocross demonstration.


Tribu Expérientiel is proud to have been able to evolve and to have worked on this project alongside all of key partners. An amazing project that has been expanding for the past 6 years now!
