Canada’s biggest action sports festival lands strong for a second edition in Ontario

Following the success of its 2024 debut, JACKALOPE Mississauga came back bigger, louder, and bolder for its 2025 edition. From July 11 to 13, the iconic Celebration Square transformed once again into a playground for action sports enthusiasts, families, athletes, and thrill seekers of all kinds.

Under the blazing Ontario sun, the festival drew an impressive crowd of over 68.000 attendees across the weekend and generated more than 4.5M impressions online across our channels, proving that the appetite for adrenaline is alive and well in the Greater Toronto Area.

A full-scope experience for athletes, fans, and families

Skateboarding, bouldering, FMX, BASE jumping; each sport brought its own energy to the square.
Celebration Square erupted as top athletes pushed their limits, while the crowd enjoyed everything from high-flying moto demos to gravity-defying climbing finals.

The pro bouldering competition, powered by Arc’teryx and Up The Bloc, drew some of Canada’s best climbers. Meanwhile, the legendary Bob Burnquist hosted an exclusive meet & greet for VIP guests, and Electrolit offered fans a chance to meet top athletes right onsite.

All weekend long, families and fans explored brand activations from Jarritos, Arizona, and Haribo, who brought the fun with their colorful mini-ramp. Tech Deck was also on-site with their ambassador TJ Rogers, connecting the next generation to skate culture in a playful and engaging way.

Powered by the city, broadcast to the world

JACKALOPE Mississauga was made possible through the ongoing support of Visit Mississauga, who welcomed the festival back to their city and helped us turn Celebration Square into a summer destination.

On the broadcast side, the JACKALOPE 2025 livestream was featured across multiple platforms, including:

With around 30k livestream views and growing international attention, JACKALOPE Mississauga is now a globally visible event with strong roots in local culture.
