The project

This festival designed and held in Miami for 20 years, celebrates the best of Latin America: culinary wonders, concerts, art crafts and traditional dances.

Tribu Expérientiel was in charge of the production, the marketing and the communications strategy for the first Montreal edition of this event.

The project

The festival took place on September 7th, 8th and 9th on the Jacques Cartier pier, in the Old Port of Montreal.

Culture lovers, avid travelers and Latin American community member, in total, 7000 festival goers attended the first edition.

This unique event assemble more than 10 different Latin American culture at the same location, Montreal. It was an occasion for celebration for the Montreal Latin community and an open invitation to discover and travel for the fans, the curious and the passionate.

The Experience

Throughout the weekend, craftsmen and artists coming from 12 Latin American countries and not less than 11 food stands with traditional specialties on the menu.

A colored artistic program with traditional dancers, and Latin music’s iconic artists concerts:

Friday, September 7th, Jah and I opened the first night of the festival on reggae rhythms.

Saturday, September 8th, the Montrealer Mamselle Ruiz shone on stage, warming up the public who was getting ready to welcome THE king of Merengue Elvis Crespo, who offered an amazing performance, with “Suavemente” that everyone has been eagerly waiting for.

Sunday, September 9th, the beautiful Florence K accompanied the sunset with a show full of love and generosity. Cuban group Charanga Habanera closed the festival by setting fire on stage on salsa rhythms with a contagious energy; in front of thrilled fans.
